Executive Director, Efrain Davila, M.Ed.
Efrain Davila comes to LifeSteps with over 25 years of professional experience in the social work arena. He has served with distinction at the Texas Youth Commission, Hidalgo County Juvenile Probation, Cameron County Juvenile Probation and Travis County Juvenile Probation Departments. Additionally, Efrain worked with the Travis County Domestic Relations Office and the Travis County Counseling and Education Services Office.   He has received awards from the Texas Correctional Association and Dispute Resolution Centers of the Travis County Juvenile Court, the Criminal Justice Division of the US Department of Justice and the Mentor of the Year from the Round Rock Independent School District. He has been published in the Texas Journal of Corrections, On Patrol and The Victim Informer. Although he retired in 2005, he joined LifeSteps in May 2008, serving as the Executive Director of LifeSteps.

Program Director, Bebe Johnson, MPA, CPS
Bebe is native to Williamson County. She received a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a Masters degree in Public Administration from Sul Ross State University in Alpine. Bebe has been a Certified Prevention Specialist since January 2007. She has been working in the prevention community for 7 years. Bebe currently serves on the State Advisory Board for MADD. She has been married for 23 years and has a 16 year old daughter and a 20 year old son.

Instructor, Lisa Wallace, CPS
Lisa is a Senior at Texas A&M Central Texas (previously known as Tarleton Central Texas) where she is pursuing a degree in Social Work. She is a registered LCDC Intern and is a Certified Prevention Specialist. Through Central Texas College she received an Advanced Certification for Chemical Dependency as well as an Advanced Certification for At-Risk Youth. She recently obtained certification as a TYTAP instructor, teaching the state mandated tobacco awareness classes for minors caught in possession of tobacco. She currently coordinates Life Skills classes in the elementary and middle schools throughout GISD. As a Prevention Specialist, she informs youth across Williamson County about the dangers of tobacco, alcohol and other drugs. In 2009, she received the Volunteer of the Year award from The Williamson County Juvenile Academy and Partners in Education.

Intern, Porscha Williams
Porscha is a May 2009 graduate of Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX. Originally from Dallas, Porscha graduated with a B.A. in Religious Studies, with a double minor in Feminist Studies and English. She also has a background in theatre, which she hopes to use in her work with students. Porscha will be co-sponsoring a girls’ empowerment club at Taylor High School, helping to train McNeil High School’s new ATOD teen prevention group and teaching LifeSkills curriculum in elementary and middle school classrooms. She is also looking forward to pursuing a License for Chemical Dependency Counseling (LCDC) through the state of Texas.
